Clear & Explicit Disclaimer of Non-Affiliation
Derpixon Discovery Hub (derpixon.org) is an independent fan-curated research directory, animation study archive, and web production toolkit. This website is NOT operated by, affiliated with, authorized by, sponsored by, or endorsed by the independent digital animator Derpixon. All character trademarks, proprietary names, animated imagery, and related creative assets remain the exclusive intellectual property of their original copyright holders.
1. Why This Platform Exists: Tackling Impostors & Spam
In the contemporary internet landscape, independent artists who achieve viral cultural prominence frequently face rampant content aggregation. Bad actors regularly establish lookalike websites, spoof social media handles, monetize low-resolution video rips with aggressive adware, and trick unsuspecting fans into entering credentials on phishing portals.
Derpixon Discovery Hub was engineered as a safe, definitive reference sanctuary. Our dual objective is to:
- Safeguard the Audience: Providing verified, SSL-validated outbound links directly to the artist’s authorized accounts on Newgrounds, YouTube, and X (Twitter).
- Educate Emerging Animators: Providing comprehensive production calculators, storyboard beat sheets, and technique checklists to empower the next generation of 2D digital artists.
- Preserve Accurate Metadata: Documenting verified release dates, precise runtimes, voice talent credits, and animation style breakdowns.
2. Copyright, Fair Use & Non-Rehosting Commitment
We maintain a strict and uncompromising non-rehosting policy. Derpixon Discovery Hub does not stream, host, duplicate, rip, or distribute full copyrighted animated video files. All media reviews, keyframe analyses, and timing breakdowns presented on our site constitute transformative commentary and educational criticism protected under Section 107 of the United States Copyright Act and equivalent international Fair Dealing exemptions.
3. Adult Content & Viewer Discretion Protocols
Certain animations created by Derpixon explore mature and adult themes. In strict adherence to web safety standards and search engine family guidelines, derpixon.org does NOT display explicit, uncensored video players or adult imagery. Visitors seeking to view adult releases are directed via outbound hypertext links to Newgrounds, where they must log in with an age-verified account with the "Adult" content filter activated.
4. Privacy-First Technical Engineering
Built for speed, security, and user respect, this platform adheres to the highest modern web standards:
- Zero Third-Party Ad Trackers: We do not sell user data, deploy invasive cross-site tracking beacons, or display pop-under advertisement networks.
- Pure Client-Side Tools: Our Frame-Rate Calculator, Storyboard Planner, and Animation Checklist operate entirely inside your local browser storage. No screenplay drafts or storyboard beats are saved to remote servers.
- PHP 8.3 & Semantic Architecture: Engineered with strict types, output escaping, WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility contrast ratios, and complete keyboard navigation.
5. Fact-Checking, Corrections & Contact
Every date, credit, and link in our index is fact-checked against primary artist announcements. If you discover a broken link, missing voice talent attribution, or timing discrepancy, we welcome your feedback through our Contact & Corrections Desk.
